Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Operating Room (OR) located in Baltimore, Maryland. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy community hospital setting, supporting a variety of surgical procedures including general, gynecological, plastics, orthopedic, and bariatric surgeries.

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Education Requirements: Nursing degree (ASN/BSN). Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in an acute care setting. Location Requirements: Maryland state license or eligibility.
• Schedule: 12-hour days with a 4 call per 6 week schedule, including 2 weekdays, 2 independent weekend days/nights per 6 weeks.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience working with ortho, vascular, robotic, or plastics surgeries. Scrub experience is a plus but not required. This role supports a non trauma community hospital operating 14 ORs, with an average of 35-40 cases per day, including outpatient and inpatient procedures involving pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
