Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Neurological

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU NEURO) in a healthcare facility. This position involves caring for acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical neurosurgical patients requiring invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, and routine imaging such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and angiography. The role requires providing care with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2-3:1 and may involve floating to other intensive care units or step-down units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid driver`s license or state identification. Completion of UHS Skills Checklist, submission of UHS employment packet, and UHS prior employment form.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position focuses on the care of neurocritical patients in a specialized ICU setting, with responsibilities including invasive monitoring and routine neurological assessments.
