Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in South Carolina. This position involves providing critical care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. The role requires proficiency in utilizing various advanced technology and delivering high-level patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of ICU acute care experience.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification with advanced physical skills training course.
  • Cerner experience.
  • Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information:
  • The ICU team cares for patients with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions.
  • Utilizes various advanced technology including ventilators, cardiac monitors, PICC lines, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, CRRT, and intravenous infusion pumps.
  • Responsibilities include fulfilling patient, family, and community needs by performing diverse patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
