Registered Nurse / Oncology Clinic

Job Summary:
An Oncology Nurse position is available in an oncology department located in Saint Helena, California. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to outpatient oncology patients receiving radiation therapy, including chemotherapy infusion, while adhering to established standards and utilizing clinical judgment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Helena, CA
• Position: Oncology Nurse in an oncology department
• Schedule: Days, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday; 36 hours per week, 4 days per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; 2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience; Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) or Chemotherapy Immunotherapy (CHIM) or ONC/ONCC-CHIM; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per organization policy; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; ONC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certificate.
• Additional Information: Candidates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Adventist Health participates in E-Verify, and applicants must acknowledge understanding of the E-Verify process. No call or weekends required.
