Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy Labor and Delivery department with a focus on fetal monitoring, antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. The candidate will support a high-volume unit that emphasizes patient-centered care in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current (within previous 2 years) Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification; Labor and Delivery experience; current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; located within a commutable distance to Richmond, Virginia; at least 2 years of clinical experience in a labor and delivery setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in facilities with 3000 or more annual births; familiarity with Novii monitors, iMobile, pass-through skin-to-skin C-section drapes, and aromatherapy.
• Additional Information: Candidate must adhere to the unit`s policies including scrubs in navy blue, covered tattoos and piercings, and supporting a culturally diverse patient population.
