Registered Nurse / Electro Physiology Lab

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Observation Unit (COU) care, working in a healthcare facility located in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing high-level nursing care to patients pre- and post-procedures in the Cath Lab, including evaluation, documentation, and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. The position requires handling high acuity patients and performing bedside procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV).

Job Details:

• Location: Tucson, AZ
• Position: RN - Cardiac Observation Unit
• Specialty: Electro Physiology Lab (EP LAB)
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030)
• Schedule: Varies; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for Arizona or a compact state, ACLS certification, BLS certification, and 0 or more years of experience in relevant clinical areas such as PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, or surgery center.
• Additional Information: Call responsibilities include Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational basis, approximately once every four to six weeks. Call includes Saturday from 0700-1700 and Sunday from 0700-1400. Responsibilities include patient admit and preparation for cath procedures, cardioversions, TEE procedures, recovery, sedation, documentation, discharge teaching, and physical discharge.
