Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist position located in Mason City, Iowa. This role involves working every third weekend with shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The position requires on-call responsibilities approximately 10 to 12 days per month, including holiday rotation. The ideal candidate will possess CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience and be available to start on 08/16/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in operating room nursing or relevant surgical specialties, educational background in nursing or healthcare, a minimum of 3 years of experience in operating room settings with CVOR experience, and location requirements to work in Mason City, Iowa.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications related to cardiovascular surgery or perioperative nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position involves working in a facility with a focus on cardiovascular surgical procedures, requiring adherence to hospital policies and protocols. Prior experience in cardiovascular operating rooms is essential for success in this role.
