Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position in Plano, Texas. This role involves providing patient care in a high-volume endoscopy unit with a focus on procedures such as colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), bronchoscopy, and endoscope reprocessing. The position requires flexibility to cover call shifts and unit needs, supporting a skilled team in a busy procedure environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure; either a minimum of 1 year of experience or recent graduate with clinical training; ability to work in Texas; previous experience in endoscopy or related procedures is highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and endoscope reprocessing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Call requirements include approximately 4-7 days of call per month, including one weekend. The unit features five procedure rooms with a staff of 15, including registered nurses and endoscopy technicians. Attention to unit policies, dress code, and a team-oriented personality are important.
