Job Summary:
The Los Angeles-based healthcare provider is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Labor & Delivery for an eight-week assignment. Candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma setting, managing both emergent and scheduled procedures, monitoring maternal and fetal conditions, and supporting patients through the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Openings: 4 (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts)
• Required Qualifications: Active California RN License; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification; MAB or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification; LA City Fire & Life Safety Card (must be LA City); LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to start date; minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience; experience in a Level I Trauma Institution in a metropolitan area with diverse patient population; circulating nurse experience for Cesarean sections; advanced fetal monitoring experience; Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves caring for patients throughout the labor and delivery process, managing emergent and scheduled Cesarean sections, monitoring maternal and fetal conditions, assisting with complicated deliveries, post-operative recovery, breastfeeding support, and postpartum care. Only fully committed candidates will be considered for this eight-week assignment.
