Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role involves circulating and monitoring during various cardiac procedures, including Tee`s, cardioversions, peripherals, and other related interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Carlsbad, NM
• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL)
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS); Education: RN license; Experience: 2+ years circulating and monitoring in cardiac procedures such as Tee`s, cardioversions, peripherals; Certification and State License; no minimum experience specified otherwise

• Float: Float rotation may be required. Floating as sitters is typical.
• Additional Information:
  • The scope of the role includes circulating cases, responsible for moderate sedation, preparing and administering medications, circulating/monitoring, and cleaning and stocking the lab.
  • 48-hour glycohemoglobin (GH) tests are not approved.
  • The schedule is blocked and holidays are not considered for request to time off.
  • Candidate must have fingerprints on file for all New Mexico travelers.
  • No holidays will be considered for RTO.
