Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse located in Alexandria, Louisiana. This full-time position supports the care of cardiac caths, peripherals, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), devices, and related procedures. The role involves providing routine and complex nursing care independently, with a focus on patient assessment, education, and clinical management in a specialized cardiac setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or in a state with a nurse licensure compact, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or a related critical care setting.
• Additional Information:
  • The role requires availability to work every third or fourth weekend.
  • On-call responsibilities are to be determined in collaboration with other staff.
  • The nurse will work alongside a team that includes two nurses and two technicians to maintain a patient to staff ratio of 1:4.
  • The position begins as soon as possible, with a start date of 08/31/2026.
  • New RN hires must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of employment, complete preceptor-led onboarding, and meet all organizational competency validation requirements.
