Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in endoscopy laboratory procedures is sought for a day shift position located in Wichita, Kansas. The selected candidate will join a dedicated team performing advanced endoscopic procedures on high-acuity patients under highly trained physicians. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Shift Schedule: Day shifts, including: 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Estimated Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum 1-year current acute care Endoscopy Laboratory RN experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience with Olympus scopes and reprocessing; endo experience with circulating and technologist procedures; proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Additional Information: The unit performs both basic and interventional/therapeutic procedures such as EGD/Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, and involves manual cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes. The team works independently with minimal supervision and collaborates intraoperatively with specialized physicians.
• Staff will work approximately 4 shifts per month, including occasional weekend shifts.
