Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within a busy acute hospital setting. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during various surgical procedures.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 3x12-hour days, with start times fluctuating between 0645-1915 or 0900-2130.
  • Schedule: 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand, BLS certification, at least 2 years of OR experience, experience with Epic charting system, shift duration of 12 hours, and minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and CNOR certification.
  • Patient Care and Responsibilities: Providing perioperative care in the operating room across adult patient populations, including trauma, vascular, neuro, and specialty surgeries such as bariatric, gynecological, and urological procedures.
  • Additional Information: Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and shift coverage may include float within scope to meet operational needs. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility at the time of application, with pending licenses accepted provided they are in hand before the assignment begins.
