Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR) located in Southaven, MS. This position involves primarily circulating duties within the operating room and requires working with cardiovascular surgical teams. The role involves weekday schedules, occasional call, and the potential for early start times to accommodate surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Position: RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Location: Southaven, MS
• Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 0645-1515. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS certification, ACLS certification, at least 1 year of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience or willingness to work in a general operating room; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: CVOR experience.
• Call Requirements: Occasional call 2 days a week from 3:15 pm to 7:00 am Monday through Friday; occasional weekend call from Saturday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 am. CV surgeon prefers to start on Mondays at 6:30 am, with RNs rotating for early cases.
• Notes: The position requires weeknight and weekend call; flexible start times to accommodate early cases are typical.
• Location Details: The assignment is located at 7601 Southcrest Parkway, Southaven, MS 38671.
