Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Pontiac, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the ICU setting, following established nursing care plans, and supervising support staff. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of their assignment.

Education and experience requirements include a valid nursing license and a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, assist with discharge planning, participate in team conferences, and provide ongoing patient education. Responsibilities include supervising ancillary staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed in all aspects of care. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional growth through ongoing education.
