Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Hickory, North Carolina. This role involves providing advanced critical care in a high-acuity emergency department environment. The position supports a fast-paced setting, requiring skilled assessment, intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: RN license with at least 2 years of experience, certifications including ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS, located within the United States, and no less than 2 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting, with skills in stroke, STEMI, and trauma care, energetic and knowledgeable personality
- Additional Information: Unit comprised of 32 beds in the Emergency Department, with patient ratios of 1-4 or 1-5. Critical care equipment and Cerner electronic health record system utilized. The role supports the birth to death patient population with a focus on critical care skills and efficiency.
