Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Units is needed at a healthcare facility located in Asheville, North Carolina. The position involves providing high-level clinical care within a step down/med surg and progressive care environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit
• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Schedule: Day Shift with 12-hour shifts; Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2 years of nursing experience, experience working with tracheostomy patients, certifications including ACLS and BLS, experience with electronic medical record systems (Cerner).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Cerner EMR and previous exposure to similar unit procedures.
• Other Information: Flexibility and high levels of clinical competence are essential. The role may require floating to other medical-surgical and progressive care units.
• Additional Details: The position involves working 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts within a 6-week period.
