Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Baker City, Oregon. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the operating suite. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shift from 0645 to 1915, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Oregon state nursing license, and no minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Operating Room setting is preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves assisting with various surgical procedures in the OR, adhering to facility policies and procedures, and providing excellent patient care. Call coverage may be required during weekends, holidays, and cases that extend beyond normal shift hours. Staff could be asked to stay up to 2 hours past their scheduled shift to cover cases that run late, with those hours paid as on-call time.
