Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position is located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This role involves providing critical patient care in a rural healthcare setting, working in a facility with a 1:2 patient ratio. The position offers a challenging and rewarding experience for experienced ICU nurses seeking a short-term contract opportunity.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Minimum of 2 years ICU experience. Prior critical access or rural experience highly preferred. Peds patients may be occasional surgical cases (ENT or ortho). Epic charting experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing.
• Float: Float to units with similar skillsets within the hospital and to other Aspirus locations (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River) within a 40-mile radius; float assignments may be pre-scheduled.
• On Call/Call Back: Call back minimum of 2 hours, with the possibility of being on call during low census periods.

• Interview Types: MSP (Managed Service Provider) Interview
