Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
This cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) nursing position is based in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients with cardiac conditions, with a focus on ventilator management, central line and chest tube procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Worth, Texas
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license; BSN degree; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification; minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU; ventilator experience; art/central line/chest tube management skills; Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with CVICU procedures such as hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators.
• Preferred Qualifications: CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella devices.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The schedule includes two weekend shifts biweekly. There is no on-call requirement.
