Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on a Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit located in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages over 28 days, with a focus on trauma, post-orthopedic, and neuro conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position is scheduled for night shifts beginning 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Marquette, Michigan, United States
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor
• Specialty: Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics
• Number of Openings: 1
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), current license, 0+ years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a similar role with adult and pediatric patient populations, trauma and post-orthopedic/neuro care experience
• Unit Information: 24 beds, patient ratios approx. 1:6, utilizing electronic health records Paragon (switching to Cerner on 03/01/2024)
• Additional Information: Inpatient float rotation may be required to cover unit needs.
