Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) professionals are sought for a healthcare organization located in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical unit, focusing on open heart procedures and critical cardiac care. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours with opportunities to support a busy surgical department.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, at least 1 year of operating room experience, with experience in neuro and orthopedic/spine procedures preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour shift days, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience, BLS certification, neuro and orthopedic/spine experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma center experience, orthopedics experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will need to have experience with various surgical equipment, EMR systems (Meditech), and demonstrate a team-oriented, positive attitude. The role may require weekend and on-call duties, approximately 10 to 15 days per month.
