Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Neurology Floor

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Neurology (MS NEURO) is needed for a facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing inpatient care on a Neurology-focused Medical Surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation. The shift is overnight, and the assignment is for 13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12 hours)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on the submission form)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (must be indicated on the submission form)
• Qualifications: Current RN License (eligible in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience, no minimum years of experience required otherwise.
• Certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA
• Float Requirements: as needed, to a similar or lower acuity unit
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for all age groups, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Provides direct patient care, monitors, and coordinates activities with ancillary departments, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working with blood and body fluids.
