Emergency Room Nurse in Wilson, North Carolina. This position involves providing acute care in a busy emergency department setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Associates of Nursing degree, at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Candidates must be located at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health record systems, strong skills in managing respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including geriatric and adult patients, with patient ratios typically between 1:4-5 depending on acuity. Equipment includes GE monitors and standard ED tools. The assignment begins on 08/10/2026.
