Registered Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
A Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role involves providing care within a skilled nursing environment for an 8-week contract. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires working the 8-hour evening (PM) shift, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 8-hour PM shift, 8 weeks duration, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2+ years of long-term care experience required; at least one completed contract preferred; associate degree or certificate required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records, especially EPIC; travel experience; prior LTC/Assisted Living and rehabilitation skilled nursing facility experience; familiarity with patient ratios of 1:10 in rehabilitation and 1:24 in LTC/Assisted Living with CNA assistance of 1:10 ratio; scrub color: black (no hats or hoodies, scrub jackets okay)
• Float: Float rotation may be required throughout the facility and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius, based on skillset
• Additional Information: Local candidates accepted; No on-call or callback requirements; No guaranteed GSA hours during orientation; set hours are guaranteed each week, except during holidays when the unit may be closed; holiday rotation as needed; interview days available Monday through Friday; MSP interview types
