Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional opportunity is located in Haxtun, Colorado. This position involves providing nursing care in an emergency room and medical-surgical units, with a focus on urgent inpatient and outpatient services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Haxtun, Colorado

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), AHA Procedural Sedation Module, current nursing license, two years of nursing experience in relevant settings, and applicable education requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit frequently handles patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), postoperative orthopedic care, pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTI), altered mental status (AMS), and failure to thrive.
