Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care located in Springfield, MA. The position involves floating to Medical High Acuity Care Center (HVCC), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role demands experienced ICU nurses prepared to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in MICU setting and strong ICU background.
• Additional Information: The ICU has 32 beds, with patient ratios typically 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity. Cases include Sepsis, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)/Continuous Veno-Venous Hemofiltration (CVVH), post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure.
