Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Duluth, Minnesota. This position involves supporting general surgery cases within a 13-week contract. Candidates are required to bring their RN licensure and relevant certifications on the first day of assignment. The role involves working variable day and night shifts with a minimum of 32 hours guaranteed per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: Duluth, Minnesota
  • Shift: 8/12-hour day/night variable shifts
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 32.0
  • Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Associate Degree or Certificate; Certifications including American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2+ years of Operating Room experience with at least 1 travel assignment and experience in general surgery and circulating roles; EMR experience preferred, specifically Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Resilient, adaptable, socially engaging candidates who can manage change well; hard workers.
  • Float: Not applicable
  • Additional Information: Contract length is 13 weeks with the possibility of 36 hours of low census unbillable hours. During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID-19 vaccinations is required to wear a mask at all times. The rotation requires working 2 out of 4 weekends and holidays as needed.
