Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The position involves circulating nurse duties in a surgical setting, focusing on neuro, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, and general surgeries. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and experience with advanced surgical equipment, including DaVinci Xi robotic systems and specialized patient positioning tools.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift with 4x10 hour shifts per week, totaling a minimum of 40 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of OR experience with specific skills in neuro, urology, gynecology, or general surgery. Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic systems, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning is necessary.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multiple surgical specialties, flexibility in case types, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Additional Information: The position involves serving as a circulating nurse in a busy surgical unit. Candidates must be willing to work scheduled late shifts, participate in rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days, and adhere to facility dress code guidelines. Vaccination against flu is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, unless exempted with client approval.
