Registered Nurse / Home Healthcare

Job Summary:
Home Healthcare Nurse in an outpatient community setting. This position involves providing, teaching, supervising, and documenting nursing care of patients at home, with a focus on promoting and maintaining health, preventing illness, and facilitating rehabilitation. The role requires independent functioning under the guidance of the Director, adhering to specific protocols while utilizing strong clinical judgment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 1 year acute nursing care experience with hospital-based background preferred, proficiency with OASIS, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current drivers license, and insurance.
• Preferred Qualifications: Infusion Therapy Certification, demonstrated knowledge of community health principles, ability to perform independently with minimal supervision, experience with self-scheduling caseload, and flexibility in assignments.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have own vehicle, ability to pass an N95 mask fit test, and be willing to work every third weekend along with 1-2 holidays as needed. The position requires familiarity with home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines, with a preference for candidates with at least one year of home health experience.
