Registered Nurse / Home Healthcare

Job Summary:
Home Healthcare Nurse in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves providing, teaching, supervising, and documenting nursing care for patients in their homes. The nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals and community representatives to coordinate care, evaluate responses to interventions, and promote health and recovery. Independence, critical thinking, and emotional stability are essential for success in this role.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, at least 1 year of acute nursing care experience, home health experience, proficiency with OASIS, Certified Home Health certification, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), current driver`s license and insurance, ability to drive in inclement weather, and willingness to accept on call responsibilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Infusion Therapy Certification, demonstrated community health principles knowledge, ability to perform independently as a clinician, self-scheduling experience, flexibility in assignments, and BSN degree.
• The candidate must be willing to provide their own vehicle, have a working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines, and include their perm address in the profile.
• Additional Information: The candidate must include at least two specific interview dates/times in their profile; profiles lacking this information will not be considered. All scheduled requests must be made at submission; no scheduling requests after offer or during interview will be approved. RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days and must be noted during profile upload. The candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location.
