Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Ogallala, Nebraska. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for obstetric patients in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes providing high-quality patient-centered care by utilizing specialized nursing skills and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of recent experience in a labor and delivery department or acute care setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or higher, professional certification in obstetric or neonatal nursing, additional related education or experience
• Additional Information: The role involves providing direct patient care, managing labor and delivery processes, educating patients and families, and documenting all clinical activities accurately and timely. The nurse will work within established policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards. The position may require working in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds as needed.
