Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a telemetry unit, with a focus on experience in drug titration. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This role offers night shifts and requires a commitment to the specified schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, MO
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0700, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Role: RN in Telemetry specialty
• Number of Openings: 1
• Schedule: Nights only
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri; BLS from American Heart Association; NIHSS (may be submitted without but must be obtained prior to start); 1 year of inpatient telemedicine experience including drug titration; experience and competence in drug titration; EMR experience with EPIC; physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs; high risk exposure to blood and body fluids.

• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, monitors and coordinates patient activities, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to hospital standards and mission.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted.
