Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Florence, South Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. The RN will be dedicated to ensuring patient safety, promoting a positive work environment, and participating in patient discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Location: Florence, South Carolina
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS Certification required prior to first shift, ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience, and a commitment to professional development.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; participates in patient education and discharge planning; documents patient care and responses accurately and timely; collaborates with the care team; provides supervision and direction to ancillary nursing staff; ensures safety practices are followed; contributes to team activities to foster a positive work environment; and maintains communication with supervisory staff regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
