Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor is sought for a facility located in Chesterfield, MO. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services for adult patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The RN will work in a dedicated team environment focusing on improving individual functional ability and quality of life.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: RN license in the state of Missouri, BLS (CPR) certification, 2 years of experience, and ability to float within units in the hospital (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
• Preferred Qualifications: CRRN certification

• Unit Information:
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: 6785
  • Unit Profile: 81 private rooms, adult patient population aged 18+
  • Patient Ratios: approximately 1:6/7 during day shifts and 1:8 during night shifts
  • Equipment: Specialized rehab therapy devices, monitored rooms, dedicated therapy space, and outdoor healing garden
• Additional Notes: Scrub color required: black scrubs with ID badge. Arrive by 6:30 AM and ask for the charge nurse upon arrival. Parking available in the garage (upper level or back two rows of the lower level).
