Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Carthage, Tennessee. The role involves working in the Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units at a critical access hospital with a focus on maternity care for women and newborns. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive care team in a scenic location along the Cumberland River.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts, weekly guaranteed hours of 36, and rotating every other weekend as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license to work in Tennessee; Certification in ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP; and a minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, fetal monitoring experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification, experience with Centricity and Meditech electronic health record systems, and strong couplet care skills.
• Unit Information: The unit has 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. The facility provides a supportive environment for maternity care.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have required certifications prior to start date. Orientation sessions occur weekly on Mondays. The client reserves the right to update certification requirements as needed. Local candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel.
