Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Nursing position is located in South Carolina. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a medical-surgical floor, focusing on delivering competent, compassionate, and efficient nursing services. The position requires applying knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to ensure age-appropriate care, conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments, and documenting findings in accordance with facility policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; Med/Surg nursing experience of 2 years; BSN degree highly desired; NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification required (must be Crisis Prevention Institutes Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) with Advanced Physical Skills Training course); Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree highly desired
• Additional Information: The position involves fulfilling patient care needs, performing assessments, and ensuring documentation compliance. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of patient treatment requirements and possess the ability to interpret patient information and growth needs.
