Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room nurse in Saint Helena, California. This role involves delivering comprehensive perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment. The position requires supervising diverse nursing staff, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and managing pre-op and PACU phase II workflows, with a focus on endoscopy and outpatient surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN), two years of experience, California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from approved vendors.
• Preferred Qualifications: Endoscopy experience, outpatient surgery and perioperative experience, comfort with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows, experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover, experience with open heart and total joint patients.
• Additional Information: The role requires coordination of patient care, discharge planning, delegation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to promote patient safety and quality outcomes. A commitment to safety and the ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient setting are essential.
