Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary:
A Certified Surgical Technician position is available in the Operating Room of a healthcare facility located in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves assisting with total joint, neuro, and Xi robotic cases, particularly spinal fusions utilizing Davinci Xi robotic technology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Anchorage, Alaska
  • Schedule: Three (3) shifts per week, each lasting 8 hours, with shifts from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, totaling 24 hours per week. Candidates must work a minimum of 40 hours weekly, including required on-call duties.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current license, and 0 years of experience. Candidates must have neuro and Xi robotic experience, as well as proficiency with total joint and spinal fusion procedures. Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Patient advocate demeanor, positive outlook, team-oriented mindset, and experience in orthopedic and neuro surgical cases involving Davinci Xi Robotic technology.
  • Additional Information: On-call duties are required, with an average of 5-6 shifts per month, including weekends. Scrubs are provided by the facility.
