Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse (RN) Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a busy Cath Lab unit that features multiple procedure rooms and a hybrid operating room. The nurse collaborates closely with the care team to ensure continuity of patient care, emphasizing a patient and family-centered approach. Prior experience in intensive care units and as a Cath Lab RN is preferred, with a flexible schedule supporting either 12-hour or 10-hour shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift hours, with shifts of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of ICU experience, 1+ years of experience as a Cath Lab RN, additional preferred experience in traveler assignments, and the ability to support both 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 10-hour shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior traveler experience is a plus but not required.
• Additional Information: The Cath Lab features 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all upgraded within the past five years. There is a 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient preparation and recovery. Hemodynamics are monitored using the Siemens Sensis system, with over 30 cases performed daily, ranging from outpatient right heart catheterizations and coronary angiograms to complex vascular interventions.
