Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Missoula, Montana, within an inpatient hospice unit. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, focusing on comfort and symptom management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers a flexible schedule with shifts that include both day and night hours, and a minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Missoula, Montana
- Schedule: Must be willing to work both day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with possible weekend work. The shift hours total 12 per day, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact or Montana); minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg; experience working in a unionized healthcare environment for RNs; strong clinical judgment and communication skills; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Additional Information: The RN will supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), participate in interdisciplinary team rounds, provide family and caregiver support, and ensure documentation and infection control practices are maintained.
