Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a busy pediatric operating room. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric cardiovascular operating room settings, supporting surgical teams during complex cardiac interventions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) registered nurse, with valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in cardiac and open heart surgery is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with pediatrics experience, CVOR or cardiac expertise, and the ability to function across multiple service lines are preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-operative patient care. The unit is equipped with Belmont Rapid Fusion EMR and Meditech / CPN systems. Staff typically work as part of a dedicated team committed to excellent patient care and teamwork.
