Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse position located in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients within the operating room setting. The incumbent will supervise staff, ensure high-quality nursing care, and support the facility`s clinical objectives on a per-shift basis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of operating room nursing experience, current registration in Texas, and excellent clinical skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Operating Room certification and prior perioperative nursing experience
• Additional Information: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will have responsibilities including clinical assessment, patient care planning, staff supervision, and compliance with hospital protocols. The role involves supporting the facility`s leadership to uphold safety and care standards. Responsibilities also include participating in clinical training activities such as Point of Care training and Restraint competency testing as scheduled.
