Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse - Passaic, New Jersey. This position involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations within the cardiovascular lab setting. The role requires continuous communication with physicians, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, and ensuring equipment readiness to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The candidate will participate in performance and quality improvement activities to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Active state Registered Nurse (RN) License; current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certificate from the American Heart Association (AHA); current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current; at least 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area.
• Responsible for assessing procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness, obtaining supplies for individual cases, and ensuring all needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
• Monitoring and recording patient condition and physiologic data during procedures, and communicating effectively with physicians regarding patient status.
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and inventory management.
• Participating actively in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
