Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare organization in Washington, District of Columbia. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care within the medical-surgical telehealth department. The role requires providing age-appropriate care, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and ensuring timely documentation, in accordance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Washington, District of Columbia
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BSN, current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of District of Columbia, at least 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience, Cerner experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• Additional Qualifications: Must live within 50 miles of the facility. Proven ability to perform initial assessment, ongoing patient evaluations, and timely documentation.
• Responsibilities include providing competent, caring, and efficient patient care, applying knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, interpreting patient needs, and fulfilling admission assessments within policy timeframes.
