Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Grand Marais, Minnesota. This role involves working in both the Emergency Department and Med/Surg units within a Critical Access facility, requiring floating between departments. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in emergency nursing and hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota Nursing license (or copy of application for temporary Minnesota Nursing license) with submission. A temp MN Nursing license tends to be quick to obtain, averaging between 3-5 days.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required in submission packet
• Endorsement or License: MN Nursing license or temporary application
• Schedule: Weekend requirements are either every other or every 3rd weekend.
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrubs: Any appropriate color/print
• Additional Information: This facility includes a 37-bed skilled nursing unit, a 16-bed critical access hospital, home health services, ambulance services, and various diagnostic and therapeutic services.
