Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
The position of Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab Pre/Post Recovery area is located in Silverdale, Washington. The facility is seeking qualified candidates for shifts within the recovery unit, which operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This role involves providing post-procedure recovery care, with a focus on patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Silverdale, Washington
• Schedule: Days, 4/10s (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM) with 1-2 call days per week and 1 weekend per month; shifts also include 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Additional shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington (WA) license or compact license, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required in case of emergency response.
• Additional Information: The unit handles complex cardiac cases including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures (including hybrid and combined cases such as AAA). The facility is a busy multimodality lab in a modern campus, newly opened in December 2020, with a welcoming team environment. Candidates should be competent with EPIC and PYXIS EMR systems. Call is required only on on-call days; otherwise, off. Response time for call is expected within 60 minutes, with 30 minutes preferred.
