Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in STATESBORO, Georgia. This role involves providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing critical thinking and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective treatment. The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes. The schedule includes night shifts, with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 4:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Schedule: Night shifts only, 36 hours per week minimum.
• Required Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience as an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse, with at least 2 successful previous travel assignments, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ESI (Emergency Severity Index) level 5 training. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and Cerner experience preferred.
• Responsibilities: Deliver patient care through the nursing process, assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care; delegate and supervise staff; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and patient outcomes.
• Additional Information: No call or floating required. Blocked scheduling prioritized but not guaranteed. No minimum RTO restrictions. Bed capacity in unit: 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds. Patient ratio: 1:4. Scrub color: Navy. EMR system: Cerner.
