Job Summary:
This is an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position located in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing high-level critical care services during night shifts, with scheduled work every other weekend and holiday, including specific coverage for July 3rd and 4th. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with complex medical needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), at least 1 year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit, and residency in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care procedures, certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and additional ICU-specific training.
- Additional Information: The position requires working every other weekend and holiday, with July 3rd and 4th coverage necessary. The candidate must be flexible to waive a 24-hour redraw of the Notice of Admission (NBO) if applicable.
