Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position in Lewisville, TX. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing open heart surgeries, with responsibilities encompassing pre-operative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-operative care. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026 and conclude on 12/14/2026, offering a dynamic clinical environment with a focus on cardiac surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of hospital experience in an operating room, with specialized knowledge in open heart procedures; certification from NNSTSA or NCCT as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); BLS certification; location requirements include Texas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech documentation system; additional advanced surgical skills are a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to dress code, including navy blue scrubs, and follow policies on personal appearance such as nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines. Emphasis on professionalism, hygiene, and adherence to unit policies is essential for success in this role.
