Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
The labor and delivery department nurse position is located in a Level 2 obstetrics and neonatal unit. The role involves providing patient care across labor and delivery, triage, postpartum, and circulating in cesarean section procedures. This position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the unit and support patient care in a busy maternity environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of experience in maternal health, and verifiable work history in labor and delivery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level 2 obstetrics units, neonatal experience, and familiarity with postpartum care practices.
• Additional Information: The nurse will work within a Level 2 OB unit with 8 labor beds, postpartum rooms, and a special care nursery. Triage duties are performed outside of labor beds, and circulating in the obstetrics operating room is required.
